The Chicago Women’s History Center, Black Metropolis Research Consortium (BMRC), and Evanston History Center are calling for proposals from their community to present lectures, panels, presentations, and workshops at the Chicago Women’s History Conference in March 2025. Proposals should explore the theme: *Past & Present Strategies to Advance the Rights of Women*. This is an opportunity to share research, ideas, and experiences that focus on the historical and contemporary efforts to promote women’s rights. Interested individuals are encouraged to contribute their work to this important event celebrating women’s history and advancing meaningful discussions.
Proposals can include collaborative presentations, panel discussions with the maximum of four people presenting 15mins each, or workshop sessions. Sessions will be 1hour and 30mins long and there will be four sessions each day with four strands of programming throughout the day. Conference presentations and panel will be recorded and shared only with registered participants who register for that option. Workshops will not be recorded.
